How this card generator works
Set how many cards to draw, then choose whether drawn cards go back into the deck or stay out until you reset it. With cards reused, every draw comes from the full deck again, so the same card can turn up more than once across separate draws — useful for quick one-off pulls or trying probability out for yourself. With cards removed, the deck genuinely thins out as you draw, exactly like dealing from a real deck in your hands: draw a hand, draw another, and the two will never share a card, right up until the deck runs out and you reset it to start fresh.
By default the deck is a standard 52 cards with no jokers, but Customize Deck lets you build something narrower — only face cards, only one suit, cards 2 through 10 for a numbers-only draw, or a full 54-card deck with both jokers included.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between "reused" and "removed"?
With cards reused, every time you draw, the deck is full again — so drawing five cards twice in a row could show you the same card both times. With cards removed, whatever you draw stays out of the deck until you reset it, so repeated draws will never overlap, the same way dealing from a physical deck works.
Are jokers included by default?
No. The default deck is a standard 52 cards, matching a typical deck used for most card games. Use Customize Deck to add one or both jokers if you want them in play.
Is each card equally likely to be drawn?
Yes. Every card currently included in the deck has an equal chance of being drawn, the same as a well-shuffled physical deck.
