Leave this blank and every question is worth 1 point, so the Score reads as a simple "questions right out of questions total." If your test weights every question equally but at some other point value — say, 2 points each — enter that value and the Score updates to match (86 / 100 instead of 43 / 50 in the example above). The percentage and letter grade never change based on this field, since scaling every question by the same amount doesn't change the ratio of right to wrong — it only changes how the raw score is displayed.

Frequently asked questions
When would I use Points per Question?
Only when you want the Score displayed in actual points rather than a plain question count — for example, if your teacher's answer key shows the test out of 100 points because every question is worth 2. Your percentage and letter grade come out identical either way, so it's purely about matching how your score gets reported.
How is this different from the Grade Calculator?
This one is built specifically for a single test scored by counting right and wrong answers.
