Text Repeater

Repeat any text as many times as you need — 10, 100, 1,000 or any number up to 10,000. Choose whether the copies run together or are separated by spaces, new lines or commas, then copy the whole thing in one click.

How to repeat text

  1. Type or paste the word, sentence or emoji you want repeated.
  2. Set how many times — type a number, or use a preset for 10, 50, 100, 500 or 1,000.
  3. Choose what goes between the copies: nothing, a space, a new line, a comma, or your own separator.
  4. Press Copy.

The result updates as you type, so you can see the repeated text and its character count before copying.

What goes between the copies

  • Nothing — the copies run together: hahahaha. Best for emoji and single words.
  • Space — ha ha ha. Best for sentences and chat messages.
  • New line — one copy per line, for lists and spreadsheet columns.
  • Comma — ha, ha, ha, for simple comma-separated lists.
  • Custom — anything you like, such as | or -.

The separator goes between the copies, so the last one is left clean. If you need it after the last copy too — useful when you're building a list you'll keep adding to — there's an option for that.

Numbering the copies

Turn on numbering and each copy is prefixed with its position: 1., 2., 3., and so on. Combined with the new-line separator, that gives you a numbered list ready to paste into a document.

What people use it for

  • Filling a form or layout with placeholder text to see how it behaves.
  • Building a column of identical values for a spreadsheet.
  • Repeating a character to draw a divider or a bar in plain text.
  • Testing character limits, since the tool shows the exact length.
  • Sending a long run of the same emoji in a chat.

Limits

You can repeat up to 10,000 times, and the result can be up to 1,000,000 characters. If a request would go over that, the tool says so and tells you how many repetitions would fit, rather than quietly cutting the result short — a block that looks complete but isn't is worse than no block at all when you're about to paste it somewhere.

Very large results can be slow to paste into some apps, and many chat services have their own message limits well below these numbers.

Frequently asked questions

How do I repeat text 100 times?

Type your text in the box, press the 100 preset (or type 100 in the number field), pick what you want between the copies, and press Copy.

Can I repeat text 1,000 times?

Yes — 1,000 is one of the presets, and you can go up to 10,000. The only other limit is the total length, which is capped at 1,000,000 characters.

Does it work with emoji?

Emoji, accented letters and other characters are repeated exactly as you entered them. The character count treats most emoji as one character, while more complex emoji sequences can contain multiple Unicode characters.

Can I repeat a whole sentence or several lines?

Yes. Anything you put in the box is repeated exactly, including line breaks, leading spaces and punctuation.
